AREA OF PRODUCTION: On the slopes of the Simonsberg Mountain between the wine growing areas of Franschhoek, Stellenbosch and Paarl,Western Cape, South Africa.
PRODUCTION SYSTEM: Cold extracted from hand-harvested olives. A blend of 5 Italian olive varieties.
COLOUR: Green with golden tint.
BOUQUET: Lovely gentle aromas - with a hint of florals and fresh herbs, especially mint.
TASTE: A good mouthfeel with nuts and herbs on the palate followed by medium intense bitter and pepper flavours, making a very harmonious oil, perfect for most culinary adventures.
SERVING TEMPERATURE: Room temperature, 16–18°C (60–64°F).
PRESERVATION: Olive oil does not mature with age – it should be consumed as fresh as possible to make the most of both its culinary and health benefits.
GASTRONOMIC SUGGESTIONS: Best enjoyed drizzled over seasonal salads or soaked up by chunks of fresh bread.
