Responsible Play
Fantasy football should be fun. Here is how we promote healthy participation and where to find help if it stops being enjoyable.
Chinchin Wines Fantasy League is a free-to-play fantasy sports platform centred on World Cup 2026. While our core game does not require payment to participate, sponsored prize competitions and the competitive nature of leaderboards can create pressure for some users. We are committed to promoting responsible play and providing tools and resources to help you maintain a healthy relationship with fantasy football.
Our Commitment
We design our platform to be transparent, fair, and age-appropriate. We publish scoring rules before each gameweek, prohibit multi-accounting, and enforce one-account-per-person policies to prevent unhealthy competitive escalation. Our marketing communications for sponsored prizes always include age requirements and links to this Responsible Play page. Chinchin Wines does not target minors with alcohol-related messaging on this platform.
Age Restrictions
Users must be at least sixteen (16) years old to register. Participation in prize-eligible competitions requires users to be eighteen (18) or older in most jurisdictions, with identity and age verification where mandated by local law. Parents and guardians should monitor minors' internet activity and ensure underage users do not create accounts. If you believe a minor has registered, contact support@chinchinwines.com and we will delete the account promptly.
Healthy Play Habits
Fantasy football is a leisure activity. We encourage you to set personal boundaries around the time you spend managing squads, checking live scores, and engaging with leaderboard rankings. Consider the following guidelines:
- Set a time limit for daily platform use — squad changes can be made in minutes, not hours.
- Avoid checking scores obsessively during live matches; points update within sixty seconds of full-time.
- Remember that variance is part of the game — even the best managers have bad gameweeks.
- Do not spend money on third-party tools or tipster services you cannot afford.
- Take breaks between tournaments if you feel frustrated or stressed about rankings.
- Balance fantasy football with other hobbies, work, and social activities.
Recognising Unhealthy Patterns
You may need to reassess your participation if you experience any of the following: feeling anxious or angry when your squad underperforms; neglecting work, study, or family obligations to manage fantasy teams; spending money you cannot afford on related products or services; lying to others about how much time you spend on the platform; or feeling unable to stop checking scores or making transfers despite wanting to cut back. These signs do not mean you have a clinical condition, but they suggest it may be time to take a step back.
Self-Exclusion and Account Controls
If you wish to take a break, you can request temporary suspension of your account by emailing responsibleplay@chinchinwines.com with the subject line "Self-Exclusion Request". Specify the duration (minimum thirty days, maximum permanent). During suspension, you will not receive marketing emails, your squad will be locked, and you will not appear on public leaderboards. Permanent self-exclusion deletes your account data in accordance with our Privacy Policy, except where retention is required by law.
Prize Competitions
Sponsored prize pools are optional. The free game is fully playable without entering prize draws. Prizes are funded by Chinchin Wines as promotional activities — they are not an investment opportunity and should never be treated as a source of income. Never chase losses or increase risky behaviour because of leaderboard position. If prize eligibility requires alcohol brand interaction, you must meet the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction.
