Terms of Use

Welcome to Chinchin Wines Fantasy League. These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of chinchinwines.com and all related services, including the World Cup 2026 fantasy squad builder, leaderboards, and sponsored prize competitions (collectively, the "Platform"). By registering an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, you must not use the Platform.

Eligibility

You must be at least sixteen (16) years of age to create an account. Users entering prize-eligible competitions may need to be eighteen (18) or older depending on local law. You represent that all registration information you provide is accurate and current. The Platform is void where prohibited by law. Employees of Chinchin Wines Fantasy League, Chinchin Wines, and their immediate family members may participate in the free game but are excluded from sponsored prize pools unless otherwise stated.

Account Registration

Each person may maintain only one account. Creating multiple accounts to gain unfair advantage, manipulate leaderboards, or abuse prize structures is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate suspension, forfeiture of prizes, and permanent ban. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account. Notify us immediately at support@chinchinwines.com if you suspect unauthorised access.

Game Rules and Scoring

Squad selection is subject to the rules published on the Platform, including budget limits (currently €150M), position requirements, formation constraints, and gameweek deadlines. Squads lock at the published deadline — typically sixty (60) minutes before the first kick-off of each gameweek. Points are awarded based on the scoring table published before each gameweek. We reserve the right to correct scoring errors, adjust player prices, and modify rules with reasonable advance notice. Decisions of the Chinchin Wines data team regarding scoring disputes are final, subject to manifest error.

Prizes and Sponsorship

Sponsored prize pools are funded by Chinchin Wines and partner brands. Prize eligibility may require age verification, identity confirmation, and compliance with local regulations. Prizes are non-transferable unless we expressly agree otherwise. Tax obligations on prizes are the sole responsibility of winners. We reserve the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value where necessary. Failure to respond to winner notification within fourteen (14) days may result in forfeiture.

Acceptable Use

You agree not to: use automated scripts, bots, or scrapers to interact with the Platform; attempt to gain unauthorised access to systems or other users' accounts; upload malicious code; harass other users or staff; impersonate any person or entity; use the Platform for unlawful purposes; or interfere with the proper functioning of the service. We may remove content, suspend accounts, or report activity to law enforcement at our discretion.

Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including text, graphics, logos, software, and data compilations — is owned by Chinchin Wines Fantasy League or its licensors and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Player names, images, and statistics are used under licence for fantasy game purposes. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission, except for personal non-commercial use of publicly displayed leaderboard data.

Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free scoring, or compatibility with all devices. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Chinchin Wines Fantasy League shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the greater of fifty euros (€50) or the amount you paid us in the twelve months preceding the claim (which is zero for free accounts).

Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these Terms or for any reason with thirty (30) days' notice. You may delete your account by contacting support@chinchinwines.com. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, and dispute resolution — will survive.

Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of London, England, except where mandatory consumer protection laws in your country of residence provide otherwise. For EU consumers, you may also use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.
